Friars-Phils rained out Saturday; twin bill Sunday
PHILADELPHIA -- Saturday night's game between the Phillies and Padres at Citizens Bank Park has been rescheduled because of rain.
The teams will play a split-admission doubleheader Sunday. Sunday's regularly scheduled game will be moved from 1:35 p.m. ET to 12:05 p.m., when Phillies right-hander Nick Pivetta will start. Fans with tickets to game No. 50 should attend the 12:05 p.m. game. Gates will open at 11:05 a.m.
Saturday's game has been rescheduled to 6:05 p.m. Sunday. Right-hander Vince Velasquez will take the mound, and fans with tickets to game No. 49 should attend that game. Fans unable to attend that game can exchange their tickets for any remaining regular-season home game in 2018.
