Padres Announce 2024 Spring Training Schedule
SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Padres today announced their Cactus League schedule for 2024 Spring Training presented by Southwest Airlines®, the club’s 31st spring in Peoria, Ariz.
The team will begin its abbreviated 23-game spring schedule on Thursday, February 22 against the Los Angeles Dodgers at the Peoria Sports Complex. The Padres will play 13 games next spring in Peoria, all but one of them as the home team. San Diego’s spring schedule features 12 games against American League opponents including the Cleveland Guardians, Kansas City Royals, Chicago White Sox, Oakland A’s, Los Angeles Angels and Seattle Mariners. The Padres will face National League foes 11 times featuring contests against the Dodgers, Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants, Arizona Diamondbacks and Cincinnati Reds.
After the Padres open the 2024 regular season in Seoul, Korea against the Dodgers from March 20-21, they will return home to San Diego and play a two-game exhibition series against the Mariners at Petco Park from March 25-26. The Padres will then kick off their regular season home schedule with the Opening Series presented by Sycuan against the Giants from Thursday, March 28 through Sunday, March 31.
