Former Major League outfielder Otis Nixon has been found and is safe after going missing this weekend, the Woodstock, Ga., Police Department said Monday on Twitter and Facebook.
Nixon disappeared after leaving his home in a gray Range Rover at about 10 a.m. ET on Saturday morning. He never showed up for a scheduled tee time at an area golf course, prompting a police search for the 58-year-old.

With the search ongoing Sunday night, the police department posted a photo of Nixon on Twitter with a request for help from the public in locating him.
Nixon played 17 MLB seasons with nine teams, including parts of four with the Braves, with whom he played in the World Series in 1992 and '99. The North Carolina native had 620 career stolen bases and 1,379 career hits.
