Orioles land outfielder Brugman from A's

The Orioles and Athletics have agreed on a deal that will send outfielder Jaycob Brugman to Baltimore in exchange for a player to be named or cash, the clubs announced Wednesday.
Brugman, who was designated for assignment by Oakland on Monday, batted .266 with three home runs and 12 RBIs in 48 games with the A's last season, his first in the Major Leagues.

Originally selected in the 17th round in 2013 by the Athletics, Brugman is a career .274/.344/.426 hitter with 41 home runs and 254 RBIs in 471 games at the Minor League level.
