The Orioles have signed veteran left-hander Wandy Rodriguez to a Minor League contract, the team announced on Friday.
The 37-year-old was a free agent. The Astros had signed Rodriguez to a Minor League deal this offseason, but Rodriguez did not make the Major League roster out of Spring Training after posting a 3.95 ERA in 13 2/3 Grapefruit League innings.
Rodriguez last pitched in the Majors for the Rangers in 2015. The 11-year veteran posted a 4.90 ERA in 17 games (15 starts), striking out 72 batters in 86 1/3 innings.
