Tigers left fielder Niko Goodrum made a sensational catch in foul territory in Detroit's 11-4 loss to the Astros on Tuesday night at Comerica Park.
After the first two Astros reached to start the seventh inning, Houston third baseman Alex Bregman lifted a high fly down the left-field line. A sprinting Goodrum covered 138 feet before dropping on his knees to slide just as he crossed the foul line. Still short of the ball's landing place, he willed his body forward and fully extended his arm to snag it mere inches above the ground.
