Floyd's death continues to resonate across MLB
As protests continue across the country in the wake of the death of George Floyd, baseball players continued to make their voices heard regarding racism and police brutality.
Messages of empathy, expressions of anger, and calls for justice and systemic change remain the central focus on social media more than a week after Floyd's tragic death in Minneapolis.

Floyd’s death has inspired people from beyond the African-American community to speak out and engage with movements for racial progress and reform. Former Yankees ace CC Sabathia shared an image of his children participating in a protest, and pleaded for “no more silence” from non-black citizens on his Instagram.
