SAN FRANCISCO -- Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts was a late scratch on Sunday due to left shoulder soreness, so he won't face the Giants as L.A. goes for a sweep against its division foes. Betts had a scheduled off-day on Saturday as well.

Injuries have been rampant across baseball, but have especially plagued the Dodgers this season. Among the major pieces on the injured list for the club are Cody Bellinger (left fibula), Corey Seager (right hand fracture) and AJ Pollock (left hamstring).
