Relive Seaver's no-no, career on MLB Network

Tuesday's MLB Network schedule features a pair of National League Championship Series-clinching victories followed by a celebration of Tom Seaver on the anniversary of his 1978 no-hitter.

9 a.m.: The Sounds of Baseball: Vin Scully
This two-hour special will treat baseball fans to a compilation of some of Vin Scully's greatest calls, with additional commentary from Bob Costas and Tom Verducci.

11 a.m.: 2001 NLCS Game 5 -- D-backs vs. Braves
The D-backs clinched the NL pennant behind a solid performance from five-time Cy Young Award winner Randy Johnson, who managed to outduel two-time Cy Young winner Tom Glavine. Johnson limited the Braves to two runs over seven innings while striking out eight before handing it over to closer Byung-Hyun Kim, who tossed two hitless innings to send Arizona to the World Series. Along with the Hall of Fame duo of Johnson and Glavine, fellow Hall of Famer John Smoltz chipped in two perfect innings of relief in the losing effort.

2 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.: 2015 NLCS Game 4 -- Cubs vs. Mets
Lucas Duda set the tone early in this one, crushing a three-run homer in the first inning en route to the Mets' 8-3 pennant-clinching victory. Duda helped the Mets cap off their sweep of the Cubs with a five-RBI performance that featured a pair of doubles in addition to his first-inning home run. Daniel Murphy also pitched in four hits, including a homer of his own, as the Mets cruised their way to their first pennant since 2000.

5 p.m.: Seaver no-hits Cards on June 16, 1978
Seaver had it all working in this one, no-hitting a Cardinals lineup that featured Hall of Famers Lou Brock and Ted Simmons, as well as five-time All-Star and 1979 NL MVP Keith Hernandez. Though he tallied only three strikeouts (the last of which came in the fourth inning), Seaver kept the Cards from making quality contact throughout the night. Along with Seaver's historic performance on the mound, fans can also catch a glimpse of Pete Rose, Ken Griffey and Joe Morgan stepping to the plate for the Reds.

7 p.m.: "Seaver"
This documentary -- produced and directed by actor and Queens native Edward Burns -- provides unique insight into Seaver, as well as his relationship with New York.

8 p.m.: Little Big League
In this "Bleacher Feature" family comedy, 12-year-old baseball fan Billy Heywood takes over control of the Minnesota Twins after his grandfather (and team owner) dies suddenly, bequeathing the team to his grandson. Billy, who knows the team as well as anyone, believes he can get the club moving in the right direction by also stepping in as the new manager.
