Two players from up-and-coming contending teams continue to lead the way in their respective leagues as balloting in the Camping World MLB Final Vote nears its end.

As today's 4 p.m. ET close of polling approaches, Mariners shortstop Jean Segura, who leads his club with a .329 batting average and has an .824 OPS, is the top vote-getter in the American League. In the National League, Brewers first baseman Jesús Aguilar, who leads the Senior Circuit with 23 homers, is tops among his competition.

Teams, players and fans have been getting creative in their efforts to boost their candidate's odds to win. Aguilar's Brewers teammates donned T-shirts bearing the phrase "I believe in Jesus" for batting practice, after spending time making his case via their social media accounts.
Brewers officials in Milwaukee also took their plea to the public. On Tuesday at Holey Moley Coffee + Doughnuts, the first 500 fans received a "Sweet Jesus" doughnut while casting their votes.

On the Mariners' side, the entire team wore "SendSegura" shirts upon boarding their flight to Anaheim on Monday to start their upcoming road trip.

Every team that has a Final Vote candidate has made similar efforts to push voting for their candidate.
Fans can cast votes for the final player on each league's roster -- on computers, tablets and smartphones -- exclusively online as part of the 2018 Camping World MLB Final Vote, as well as via the MLB At Bat and MLB Ballpark mobile apps, until 4 p.m. ET today.
The Final Vote is not fans' only way to weigh in. On Tuesday, while watching the 2018 All-Star Game presented by Mastercard live on FOX, fans can submit their choices for the Ted Williams Most Valuable Player Award presented by Chevrolet with the 2018 All-Star Game MLB.com MVP Vote.
The 89th Midsummer Classic, at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., will be televised nationally by FOX Sports; in Canada by Rogers Sportsnet and RDS; and worldwide by partners in more than 180 countries. FOX Deportes will provide Spanish-language coverage in the United States, while ESPN Radio and ESPN Radio Deportes will provide exclusive national radio coverage of the All-Star Game.
