Makeup dates for Mets-Nats set announced
Major League Baseball announced on Wednesday that the season-opening series between the Washington Nationals and the New York Mets, originally scheduled from April 1-4 at Nationals Park, will be made up as follows (all times ET):
- Saturday, June 19: 1:05 p.m./6:05 p.m. split doubleheader at Nationals Park
The originally scheduled game at 4:05 p.m. ET on June 19 has been adjusted to accommodate the split doubleheader. This will make up the game from Thursday, April 1.
- Monday, June 28: 7:05 p.m. at Nationals Park
Originally a mutual off-day for both clubs, this will make up the game from Saturday, April 3.
- Saturday, Sept. 4: 1:05 p.m./6:05 p.m. split doubleheader at Nationals Park
The originally scheduled game at 4:05 p.m. on Sept. 4 has been adjusted to accommodate the split doubleheader. This will make up the game from Sunday, April 4.
