In the bottom of the ninth inning of Saturday's Mets-Marlins game at loanDepot park, Mets rookie Johneshwy Fargas made an impressive catch in center field with the game tied at 1-all and New York trying to hold on for extra innings.
With zero outs on the board, Jesús Aguilar sent a liner to center and Fargas sprinted 68 feet to his left to snag the ball at the last second, perfectly snow coned in the tip of his glove. The 26-year-old had a sprint speed of 27.1 feet per second on the catch, and the play had a catch probability of just 40 percent.
Unfortunately, just three batters later Garrett Cooper would hit a walk-off 2-run homer for the Marlins to send the Mets home with a loss. But Fargas certainly had a win in the outfield to be proud of.
