Megan Thee Stallion wears her love for her hometown proudly, making a habit of mentioning Houston in many of her songs.

On Thursday, she got a chance to bring that love for H-Town to Minute Maid Park by throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at the Astros’ home opener.

After practicing beneath the stadium, she came onto the field in a white Astros jersey bearing a diamond chain with the words “Hot Girl” on it and a jersey that had Pete (her last name) and “222” across the back. She came out on the mound and took a second to take in the moment before throwing the pitch. After shuffling towards the plate and jokingly saying she was scared, she threw a pitch to David Hensley that was just a little outside and ended up bouncing in the left-handed batter’s box. But Hensley made the play easily. She closed the ceremony out by getting a hug from Orbit, the Astros' mascot.

While her pitch wasn’t a strike, she managed to get the ball to the plate, which isn’t the case for every celebrity first pitch.
