Meet the new faces (and voice) of Marlins Park

JUPITER, Fla. -- The Marlins' in-game experience will have four prominent new faces and voices. The organization on Thursday introduced its new public address announcer, stadium DJ and two in-game hosts for the 2019 season at Marlins Park.

The new booming voice at the public address microphone is named Zach. DJ Fielo will be the in-game DJ, while GiGi and Ashley will serve as in-game hosts. The four will make their Marlins Park debuts on Opening Day, March 28 against the Rockies. All four auditioned during the offseason.

GiGi is a native of Havana, Cuba, a dance instructor and a long-time Marlins fan. Joining her is Ashley, who grew up in Miami. Her mother is from Guatemala and father is from Cuba, while her aunt is from Vietnam and uncle is from Haiti. Ashley is no stranger to Marlins Park -- in 2018, she was a Marlins Mermaid.

DJ Fielo, a University of Florida alumnus, is an instructor at Scratch DJ Academy, and he's written and produced songs for himself and for local artists. A long-time baseball fan who played the sport growing up, he once caught a foul ball in the stands at Marlins Park.

Fans won’t get many chances to see Zach, but they will hear him as the PA announcer. A native of Miami's Flagami neighborhood, he’s a long-time Marlins fan who models his announcing style after Jay Rokeach, the former Marlins PA announcer and current PA voice for the University of Miami.
