Lamar Jackson … star slugger?
The Baltimore Ravens quarterback wants in on the two-sport action. Responding to a video of Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown taking some big hacks in the batting cage, Jackson tweeted at the Orioles: "Give me 2weekz."
Brown, who was drafted by the Padres and signed in 2016 before going on to become a Pro Bowl receiver in the NFL, still talks about becoming a two-sport athlete.
Jackson doesn't have that MLB connection, but the 2019 NFL MVP did once throw a strike for the ceremonial first pitch before an Orioles game.
Who wouldn't want to see what one of the most electric players in football could do with a baseball bat in his hands? Jackson passed for 2,882 yards and 16 touchdowns and rushed for 767 yards and two touchdowns in 12 games for the Ravens this season and was named to the Pro Bowl.
