This first pitch from Korea is a hole-in-one

When you attend a Korea Baseball Organization game, it's a show within a show.

You might catch some ostentatious bat flips or insane first pitches. The KT Wiz, who won the Korean Series in 2021, are certainly known for their flair for the dramatic. They've entertained fans in the past with a first pitch that was literally a ball of fire.

Now comes the latest first-pitch sensation that was more than par for the course.

Before the Wiz's game at Suwon Baseball Stadium, the crowd -- or gallery, for you golf aficionados out there -- watched KLPGA golfer Sol-bi Kim calmly chip shot her first pitch to catcher Jun-tae Kim, who caught it to the fans' approval.

Had she swung on grass and not on turf, the announcer said, "It would have been even more accurate."

Maybe next time, the Wiz will invite Sol-bi Kim to deliver a ceremonial first putt before a home game.
