One of the most hyped international prospects ever, Jasson Domínguez signed for $5.1 million out of the Dominican Republic in 2019 after drawing comparisons to the likes of Bo Jackson, Mickey Mantle and Mike Trout. Known as "The Martian" because of his out-of-this-world tools, he held his own at Single-A in his pro debut in 2021 as the circuit's second-youngest position player, and he has participated in the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game in '21 and '22.

Oct. 5: Domínguez a rising star in first full year as pro
Jasson Domínguez enjoyed a second-half surge to cap his first full year of professional ball, an enticing sendoff as he prepared to participate in the Arizona Fall League.
He opened the season with Single-A Tampa, where Domínguez hit .265/.373/.440 with nine homers, 36 RBIs and 19 stolen bases in 75 games. He excelled at High-A Hudson Valley, batting .306/.397/.510 with six homers, 22 RBIs and 17 stolen bases in 40 games, and even played five games at Double-A Somerset.
Overall, Domínguez wrapped the year batting .273/.375/.461 with 23 doubles, seven triples, 16 homers, 59 RBIs and 37 steals in 120 games. Keep in mind, Domínguez did all that against much older competition; it’s easy to see why the Yankees believe he is destined for stardom.
Sept. 28: Huge game leads Somerset to title
Game No. 10 at the Double-A level for MLB’s No. 40 overall prospect was a monster one. Domínguez hit two home runs and drove in six during Somerset's 15-0 win to take home the Eastern League crown. His huge game upped his season OPS to .836. Sept. 27: Powers Somerset to winner-take-all game
Playing in just his ninth game at the Double-A level, MLB’s No. 40 overall prospect posted his third consecutive multihit performance. Sept. 16: Triples for first Double-A hit
It took a couple of tries, but Jasson Domínguez finally tallied his first hit with Double-A Somerset. A night after swatting his 13th homer of the year, Jasson Domínguez doubled down and sent two dingers out in his first career multi-homer game. It's a week to remember for Jasson Domínguez, as the Yankees No. 3 prospect received news of his promotion to High-A Hudson Valley and made his mark in the All-Star Futures Game. The Yankees shared on Twitter prior to the Futures Game on Saturday that he and teammate Grant Richardson were both promoted. The video shared by the club shows Domínguez breaking the news that Richardson had been called up to the Renegades, but was later surprised when it was revealed he'd be joining him after his trip to L.A.
Later on Saturday, Domínguez had a rough start to his second go-around in the Futures Game, committing an error in center field in the second that allowed two runs to score.
