Leap for catch, stick to wall: JBJ does it all

Jackie Bradley Jr. making an amazing catch is something we've come to expect. But in Tuesday night's 4-3 loss to the Twins in Minnesota, the Red Sox center fielder went all Ken Griffey Jr. on us by making the grab on a deep fly ball by Jorge Polanco before briefly sticking to the wall like Spider-Man.
To sum up how impressive this play was, all Red Sox play-by-play announcer Dave O'Brien could say was: "Jackie Bradley, Jackie Bradley, Jackie Bradley!"
"Yeah, just kind of went back in the gap," said Bradley. "Figured if I’m going to go that far, I might as well go after it. Jumped up there, tried to get my little inner-Bo Jackson in and kind of hang on the wall a little bit.
"It was an exciting catch and an exciting moment and I just kind of gave a glance at our bullpen, because they had the best view.”
Left fielder Andrew Benintendi was impressed with Bradley's grab.
"Me and Mookie were joking that when we seem him make those plays, it’s usually like, 'Oh, that’s just another Jackie catch.'" said Benintendi. "But that one was different. That was at full speed and into the wall, and just probably one of the better ones I’ve seen him make.”
