BOSTON -- Jackie Bradley Jr. and Josh Rutledge continue to progress and will begin rehab assignments with Triple-A Pawtucket on Tuesday.
Bradley, who's on the 10-day disabled list with a right knee sprain suffered April 8 at Detroit, will play five innings in center field. Rutledge, who opened the season on the 10-day DL with a left hamstring strain, will be the designated hitter on the road against Triple-A Charlotte.

If all goes according to plan, Bradley will then play a full game Wednesday, and could join the Red Sox as early as Friday when the club begins a three-game series against the Orioles in Baltimore.
Rutledge will stay with Pawtucket to get more at-bats and play the field.
"Both are making very good strides as of late," Red Sox manager John Farrell said.
