Sources: Indians still discussing Kluber trade

The Indians' front office is known to be one of the most thorough in the Major Leagues, and so it's no surprise that they're moving deliberately through their conversations about trading ace Corey Kluber.
Yet, we shouldn't confuse the absence of revelatory reports about the negotiations for a lack of progress.
On the contrary, multiple sources indicated Wednesday that trade dialogue continues between the Indians and multiple suitors for Kluber. The Dodgers, Brewers, Phillies and Reds are among the teams that have shown interest in Kluber over the past couple of weeks.
The Indians' talks with the Dodgers have developed quickly enough that a trade of Kluber to Los Angeles has a better chance of happening -- for now, at least -- than a deal between the Dodgers and Marlins for catcher J.T. Realmuto.
The Dodgers are unlikely to acquire both Kluber and Realmuto this offseason. If they trade one or more outfielders from the group of Alex Verdugo, Yasiel Puig and Matt Kemp, that could be the precursor for a signing of free agent Bryce Harper.
Meanwhile, in the Indians' trade talks with their intrastate rivals from Cincinnati, Cleveland has expressed interest in Reds prospects Nick Senzel and Taylor Trammell, who rank No. 1 and No. 2 in the system, respectively, according to MLB Pipeline.
