Dream realized: Freeman's son meets Tatis
Charlie Freeman got his wish.
The young son of Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman hoped his dad would make the All-Star Game so that he could meet his favorite player, Padres superstar Fernando Tatis Jr.
Prior to the T-Mobile Home Run Derby on Monday night at Coors Field, Charlie got to meet Tatis and the two hugged it out -- twice.
Freddie's wife, Chelsea, shared the precious moment on Instagram with this caption: "Swipe left to see Charlie's life made."
With his selection to this year's game, Freddie Freeman is now a five-time All-Star. But no trip to the Midsummer Classic probably meant more to him than this one. It obviously meant the world to Charlie.
