Carlos Santana, Jason Kipnis, José Ramirez (reliever), Francisco Lindor, Roberto Pérez, Jake Bauers, Leonys Martin, Tyler Naquin and Jordan Luplow are on the ballot.

Lindor has played his entire five-year Major League career with the Indians. He has made the All-Star team the last three seasons, but this would be the first selection playing in front of his home crowd.

The Indians shortstop is batting .278 with 37 hits, 16 RBIs and 7 home runs in 34 games entering Tuesday. His slash line over the last 15 games is .293/.391/.500. This season Lindor, who was selected eighth overall by the Indians in the 2011 Draft, became the third-youngest player in team history to reach 100 career home runs.

A selection to the All-Star Game in Cleveland would be Santana’s first in his 10-year career. The veteran first baseman has played every season but one with the Indians. Santana (.279/.400/.881) entered Tuesday leading the team in hits, doubles, home runs and RBIs. He ranks seventh in the American League in OBP and is tied for fifth in walks.
