LOS ANGELES -- Utility man Tim Locastro, designated for assignment by the Dodgers on Tuesday, was traded to the Yankees on Wednesday for Minor League right-hander Drew Finley and cash.
Finley, 22, is the son of Dodgers vice president of amateur and international scouting David Finley.
Drew Finley was a third-round Draft pick in 2015 by the Yankees out of Rancho Bernardo High School in San Diego.
He just completed his third season at Class A Staten Island, where he battled elbow problems. In four seasons he has never pitched more than 33 1/3 innings.
Locastro, 26, hit .279/.389/.409 at Triple-A Oklahoma City this year and went 2-for-11 in 18 appearances with the Dodgers.
