Dodgers send Ravin to Braves for cash

The Dodgers on Monday traded Josh Ravin to the Braves for cash considerations.
Ravin, 29, split the 2017 season between Triple-A Rancho Cucamonga and the Dodgers. He pitched 16 2/3 innings of relief in the Majors, posting a 6.48 ERA with 19 strikeouts against nine walks.
Ravin was a fifth-round Draft pick of the Reds out of high school in 2006. He broke into the Majors with the Dodgers in 2015 and has made 33 relief appearances in the big leagues over the last three seasons.
