Here are the Dodgers' Top 10 moments of '19

1) Dodgers crush eight homers on Opening Day
March 28 vs. D-backs

Joc Pederson and Kiké Hernández each slugged a pair of home runs as the Dodgers set an Opening Day record with eight homers in a 12-5 win over Arizona and former teammate Zack Greinke.

2) Pederson’s two-homer birthday
April 21 vs. Brewers

Pederson celebrated his 27th birthday with a pair of home runs, a pair of singles and three runs scored in the Dodgers’ 6-5 win over Milwaukee. He’s 11-for-20 with three homers and four RBIs in his career on his birthday. He is the first Dodgers player with a multihomer performance on his birthday since Duke Snider in 1953. He is also the third player in MLB history with at least four hits and two home runs on his birthday, joining Philadelphia's Joe Morgan on Sept. 19, 1983, and Detroit's Kirk Gibson on May 28, 1995.

3) Turner’s three-homer game
May 7 vs. Braves

The only Dodgers position player without a home run the first month of the season, Justin Turner slugged three and drove in a career-high six runs in a 9-0 Dodgers win over the Braves.

4) Ryu's near no-hitter
May 12 vs. Nationals

Hyun Jin Ryu won the National League Pitcher of the Month Award for May, in large part because of a 6-0 win over the Nationals in which he lost the no-hitter on a Gerardo Parra double with one out in the eighth inning.

5) Rally stuns New York, Díaz
May 29 vs. Mets

Down by five runs after the seventh-inning stretch, the Dodgers pulled off a remarkable 9-8 walk-off win against the Mets and closer Edwin Díaz, overcoming rough outings by their two best young pitchers, Walker Buehler and Julio Urías, who allowed a pair of home runs each.

6) Muncy vs. Bumgarner
June 9 vs. Giants

Buehler and the Dodgers beat Madison Bumgarner and the Giants in a classic pitchers’ duel, 1-0, but it was Max Muncy's splash blast in the first inning -- and his enjoyment watching the 424-foot launch into McCovey Cove -- that made a Mad Bum out of Bumgarner. He yelled at Muncy to stop watching and start running, to which Muncy responded with a line that will go down in rivalry history: “I told him if you don’t want to watch me watch the ball, you can go in the ocean and get it.”

7) Buehler 16 K’s
June 21 vs. Rockies

Buehler struck out a career-high 16 in his first complete game, as the Dodgers beat the Rockies, 4-2, in a thrilling pitching rematch of last year’s Game 162 against German Márquez.

8) Walk-off weekend
June 23 vs. Rockies

Matt Beaty, Alex Verdugo and Will Smith pulled off a rookie walk-off weekend, each homering to win games over the Rockies, Smith’s three-run blast off Scott Oberg resulting in a 6-3 series finale.

9) Ryu starts All-Star Game
July 8 vs. American League

Ryu, a seven-time All-Star and four-time All-Star Game starter in his native Korea, became his country’s first pitcher to start the MLB All-Star Game.

10) Dodgers win seventh straight division title
Sept. 10 vs. Orioles

A 7-3 win over the Orioles at Camden Yards gave the Dodgers a seventh consecutive division title, with only five teams in the Wild Card era clinching a division faster than the Dodgers did in 146 games, according to Elias.
