LA adds Castillo to roster, then options righty

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers made an unusual roster move on Thursday, selecting the contract of right-handed pitcher Fabio Castillo onto the 40-man roster, optioning him back to Triple-A Oklahoma City and designating left-handed pitcher Justin Marks for assignment.
Castillo has been mostly at Triple-A this season, but he was also briefly with Double-A Tulsa. He is a combined 3-4 in 12 games (seven starts) with a 3.27 ERA and 41 strikeouts in 44 innings. Castillo pitched in Korea last year and worked extensively with Dodgers broadcaster Orel Hershiser during Spring Training.
Marks was claimed off waivers from Tampa Bay on May 9 and was 2-0 with a 4.50 ERA in nine games for Oklahoma City.
