Dodgers outright Tsao to Triple-A

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers outrighted right-handed pitcher Chin-hui Tsao to their Triple-A Oklahoma City roster on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old Tsao had another unusual season in 2016. It began in Minor League camp in Spring Training, but he worked his way back to the Major Leagues on May 19, when he threw a perfect inning.
But Tsao walked three in two-thirds of an inning in San Diego on May 21, and he was placed on the disabled list with a strained right triceps on May 23 and was never seen again with the ballclub.
Tsao's first Major League club was the Rockies, but he was released after undergoing shoulder surgery in 2006. He signed with the Dodgers and appeared in 21 games in '07, but injuries led to his free agency in '08.
The Dodgers signed Tsao to a Minor League contract before Spring Training with no invitation to Major League camp in 2015 and '16, but he appeared with the Major League club both seasons.
