Bellinger was an All-Star in 2017, when he later won the NL Rookie of the Year Award. Pederson was an All-Star in '15, the year he finished sixth in the NL Rookie of the Year Award voting.
Dodgers infielders Max Muncy (first base), Enrique Hernandez (second base), Corey Seager (shortstop) and Justin Turner (third base) each finished fourth at their positions. Seager was the closest of the four to reach the Starters Election, finishing 83,335 votes behind Colorado’s Trevor Story. Seager, out with a hamstring strain, won’t be ready to play in the All-Star Game.
