Price throws, posts update: 'Never felt better'

David Price looks ready to make his Dodgers debut.

The veteran left-hander tweeted a clip of him doing some offseason pitching on Tuesday, with the caption, "Never felt better!!"

Price was traded to the Dodgers along with Mookie Betts last February but has yet to take the mound in a game for Los Angeles. He elected not to play in 2020 due to health concerns amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Dodgers went on to win the World Series even without Price in their starting rotation.

The 35-year-old former Cy Young Award winner went 7-5 with a 4.28 ERA and 128 strikeouts in 22 starts for the Red Sox in 2019, a year after helping lead Boston to the 2018 World Series championship (against the Dodgers).

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said in December he was unsure whether Price would join the team for the 2021 season.
