The White Sox and left-hander Dan Jennings have reached a one-year agreement for $1.4 million to avoid arbitration, according to MLB Network Insider Jon Heyman. The club has not confirmed the deal.
The 29-year-old reliever appeared in 64 games for Chicago in 2016, posting a 2.08 ERA in 60 2/3 innings.
Jennings began his career with the Marlins, who drafted him in 2008. Miami traded him to Chicago for right-hander André Rienzo following the '14 season.
