The D-backs will be without slugging left fielder Yasmany Tomás for at least a week, as they placed him on the 10-day disabled list Tuesday with right groin tendinitis, retroactive to Saturday.
Tomas' injury allows the D-backs to recall starter Zack Godley from Triple-A Reno before his 10 days in the Minor Leagues are up, after they optioned him this past Thursday. Arizona also recalled outfielder Jeremy Hazelbaker and optioned right-hander Braden Shipley to Reno.
Tomas did not play on Saturday or Sunday, but manager Torey Lovullo said he was available to pinch-hit either game. Tomas is slashing .241/.294/.464, and he is third on the team with eight home runs.

Godley will start Saturday after tossing four innings of two-run ball on Monday in Reno. He has a 2.39 ERA in six starts with the D-backs this season.
Shipley gave up five runs (four earned) over five innings in his start against the Marlins on Sunday. The former first-round Draft pick has made two spot starts with the big league club, and he has a 3.93 ERA in nine Triple-A starts.
This is Hazelbaker's second stint with the D-backs this season. He spent the first month of the year as a backup in left and center field, hitting .308 in 26 at-bats. After he was optioned in early May, he slashed .329/.396/.624 at Reno.
