MCWS champion Ole Miss tops final National College Baseball Hall of Fame Power Poll
LUBBOCK, Texas – The last team in the Field of 64 for this season was also the last team standing as the Ole Miss Rebels topped the final National College Baseball Hall of Fame Power Poll for 2022.
After earning the school’s first baseball national title thanks to in improbable run through the NCAA postseason, the Rebels were the unanimous choice for the top spot in the final poll, earning all first-place votes.
Similarly, Oklahoma saw its own tremendous postseason end with the No. 2 spot in the final poll. The Sooners, who finished tied for third in the Big 12 regular season, were the unanimous runner-up. Neither the Sooners nor the Rebels were ranked going into the postseason.
Arkansas, Texas A&M and Notre Dame round out the Top 5.
Also receiving votes: Florida State, Arizona, Michigan, Vanderbilt.
