Vols, Beavers, Hogs garner top spots in Hall of Fame Power Poll
LUBBOCK, Texas – Positioning for the postseason is starting to take shape, and that is reflected in the Week 11 National College Hall of Fame Power Poll, where Tennessee and Oregon State continue to occupy the top spots while Arkansas is making its move.
For the fifth straight week, the Volunteers earned all six first-place votes to lead the pack while Oregon State garnered all second-place votes to come in just six points behind the Vols in the No. 2 spot. Arkansas, on the strength of a weekend SEC series win over Ole Miss, leapfrogs to the No. 3 spot while Oklahoma State makes a huge move from No. 14 to No. 4 after going into Austin and sweeping preseason No. 1 Texas in a Big 12 series. Louisville, which took all three games in an ACC battle with Clemson, surges 10 spots to No. 5.
Miami and Vanderbilt drop to No. 6 and No. 7, respectively, while Texas Tech jumps two spots to No. 8 followed by No. 9 Stanford and No. 10 Notre Dame.
Old Dominion, which dropped a Conference USA series to No. 25 Louisiana Tech, drops out of the poll.
