Is Kershaw's Dodgers career really over? The team most strongly linked to the three-time Cy Young Award winner this offseason has been the Rangers, Kershaw's hometown team. An unnamed former teammate of Kershaw's went so far as to tell USA Today's Bob Nightengale that he expects Kershaw to either sign with the Rangers or retire. Maybe that's going too far, but Texas has already made huge upgrades to its lineup by bringing in Corey Seager (Kershaw’s former teammate with the Dodgers) and Marcus Semien. The rotation could be up next. And according to the Dallas Morning News' Evan Grant, Kershaw's number would be the first one dialed by the Rangers after the lockout ended.
