'How'd he do that?' Rodón's slick kick save

It’s safe to say you’ve never seen a play exactly like this one.
Giants starting pitcher Carlos Rodón got a little assist from his left foot, and possibly his right foot as well, on a comeback ground ball from D-backs hitter Jake McCarthy on Tuesday night at Chase Field.
The sharp two-hopper ricocheted off his foot and flew under his outstretched right leg. Before Rodón knew it, the ball was in his glove, and he threw neatly to first base for the inning-ending out.
It’s a good thing there’s no kickball rule in baseball.
