Poor weather forces Cards to cancel Saturday's Winter Warm-Up

ST. LOUIS -- The start of the Cardinals' annual Winter Warm-Up event will be delayed one day, as the organization announced that it has canceled Saturday's schedule due to the forecast of severe winter weather.
This decision comes one day after the Cardinals decided to cancel their Friday and Saturday caravan stops. St. Louis and the surrounding region is bracing for an ice storm that is expected to snarl traffic and delay flights of players traveling in specifically for those events.
The Cardinals are still planning to have all of their Winter Warm-Up events for Sunday and Monday go on as scheduled at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch. The organization will closely monitor the weather situation over the next day to determine if there needs to be additional cancellations.
Those who purchased tickets for Saturday's autograph sessions will be refunded. Every fan who purchased a pass for Winter Warm-Up will also receive a voucher for two complimentary tickets to a 2017 home game.
Fans who purchased those passes online will automatically receive their complimentary ticket voucher. Others can claim that voucher at the Busch Stadium ticket window starting on Tuesday, or by mailing their passes to the Cardinals' ticket office along with a return address.
