PHOENIX -- The Brewers dug out of a five-run deficit with eight unanswered runs in the middle innings, but weren’t able to hang on for the victory.

Jared Koenig gave up a walk-off single to Eugenio Suárez in the bottom of the 10th inning, as Milwaukee fell, 11-10, to the D-backs under the roof at Chase Field on Sunday evening, failing to earn the sweep -- but still leaving the desert with a series win.

With the loss and a Cubs victory, the Brewers' magic number to clinch the National League Central over the North Siders remains at three. However, the opportunity to celebrate its third division title in the past four seasons lies ahead as Milwaukee kicks off a seven-game homestand against the Phillies before facing Arizona again to end the week.

Eric Haase played in just his third game this month and finished 3-for-5 with a mammoth game-tying home run in the sixth inning, Jackson Chourio clobbered his 21st blast of the year and Willy Adames drove in two runs, putting him just four RBIs short of tying Robin Yount’s franchise record by a shortstop (113).

DL Hall, acquired over the offseason in the Corbin Burnes trade, lasted only three innings while allowing five runs on five hits and issuing three free passes.
