Pipeline Preview: Albies looking to stay hot

Here's a look at top prospects to watch in today's Minor League action:
Hitter to watch: Ozzie Albies (Braves' No. 1), Gwinnett at Norfolk (12:05 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)
Albies reached base in each of his five plate appearances out of the leadoff spot for Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday night, going 3-for-3 with two walks and three runs scored. One of Albies' three hits was a solo homer, the No. 7 overall prospect's second of the season, and he also notched his 13th stolen base. The 20-year-old second baseman has hit in five straight games for Gwinnett, including multi-hit efforts in two of his past three.

Pitcher to watch:Carson Fulmer (White Sox No. 5), Charlotte vs. Durham (7:05 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)
Fulmer, MLBPipeline.com's No. 63 overall prospect, has been a model of consistency in his last five starts for Triple-A Charlotte, going 4-0 with a 1.57 ERA in 28 2/3 innings. He's allowed one earned run while completing at least five innings in each of those outings, during which he's held opposing hitters to a .206 average.

Duel of the day: Walker Buehler (Dodgers' No. 5) vs. Jack Flaherty (Cardinals' No. 8), Tulsa at Springfield (12:10 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)
Buehler, 22, is set to make his second start for Tulsa since being promoted to the Double-A level. The No. 84 overall prospect worked a season-high four innings in his Drillers debut, allowing two earned runs on six hits and one walk with three strikeouts. Before joining Tulsa, Buehler posted a 1.77 ERA with 30 strikeouts in 20 1/3 innings (seven starts) for Class A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga.

Flaherty enters the day with an unblemished 6-0 record through seven starts for Springfield. The 21-year-old righty has been as good as his record suggests, as he leads all Texas League pitchers in wins, ERA (0.99) and WHIP (0.79). He also ranks second in innings pitched (45 1/3), and third in strikeouts (45).
