Two-time World Series champion Brandon Crawford has retired from baseball.

The 14-year big league veteran took to Instagram on Wednesday night to make the announcement.

"Baseball has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and for the rest of my life I will be thankful for the opportunities and experiences it has given me," Crawford posted, in part. "Time is precious. I'm incredibly grateful for all the years I spent playing the game I love, but now it is time for me to spend it with the people who I'm most thankful for."

Along with winning a pair of World Series with the Giants in 2012 and '14, Crawford is a three-time All-Star, four-time Gold Glove Award recipient and a Silver Slugger winner.

Crawford, 37, spent 13 seasons with the Giants before playing his final season with the Cardinals in 2024. He finished with a .249 lifetime average, 147 home runs and 1,404 hits while accounting for 29.3 bWAR.
