PHILADELPHIA -- Phillies fans looking to get in the mood for Spring Training should check out SiriusXM's MLB Network Radio on Saturday night.
Former Philly closer Brad Lidge will host "My Best Day in Baseball" beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Sirius 209 and XM 89. Lidge recalls his memories from Game 5 of the 2008 World Series, from the weather suspension to striking out Rays pinch-hitter Eric Hinske on a slider to hand the Phils their second championship in franchise history.
The show is a fun listen. Not only does Lidge share his thoughts on the game, but also interspersed among his recollections are portions of the Phillies' radio broadcast and other audio clips, bringing fans back into the moment.
Phillies pitchers and catchers will hold their first official workout Feb. 14 in Clearwater, Fla. Lidge, who hosts Inside Pitch weekdays on MLB Network Radio, will be in camp for a period this spring as a guest instructor.
