Aug. 31: Ends month with three RBIs
Bobby Witt Jr. ensured that he would be the top dog in RBIs for August on Tuesday, as he drove in three runs in Triple-A Omaha's win over Toledo. The Royals' top prospect went 1-for-3 at the plate, bringing in two runs with a second-inning double and driving in another in the fourth on a sacrifice fly. Witt now has 34 RBIs in just 37 games with the Storm Chasers. The double was his 14th with the club as well, giving him 26 extra-base hits in Omaha. Gameday »
Aug. 29: Sac Fly is the difference
MLB Pipeline's No. 3 overall prospect Bobby Witt Jr. brought home the winning run Sunday afternoon with a sacrifice fly in the 11th inning, helping finish the game after appearing as a pinch-hitter earlier in the day. Aug. 28: Single extends hit streak

Aug. 27: Smacks 12th Triple-A homer
Bobby Witt Jr. can not be stopped at any level this year, as the No. 3 overall prospect smashed his 12th home run in 34 games at the Triple-A level. It was a landmark day for Royals prospects as Witt, No. 4 prospect Nick Pratto and No. 5 prospect MJ Melendez all went yard for Omaha. Aug. 26: Another day, another hit
Royals top prospect Bobby Witt Jr. continues to fit in just fine at the Triple-A level, reaching safely for the eighth time in the past nine games thanks to a 1-for-4 day at the plate. Aug. 25: Swats home run in second straight day
Bobby Witt Jr., you are clear for launch. Baseball's No. 3 overall prospect obliterated his second homer in as many days on Wednesday, sending a solo shot onto the left-field concourse during Triple-A Omaha's win over Iowa. Witt wasn't satisfied with the first-inning homer though, as he added two more extra-base hits to his stat line, doubling in both the fourth and sixth innings. Aug. 24: Homers, drives in four in doubleheader
Bobby Witt Jr. had an explosive start to his day, as baseball's No. 3 overall prospect swatted a three-run home run and drove in four in the first leg of Triple-A Omaha's doubleheader with Iowa. The homer was Witt's 10th as a Storm Chaser and 26th of the season. He didn't have the same success in Game 2, though, as he went 0-for-3 with a strikeout. Aug. 21: Scores twice, drives in two runs
Bobby Witt Jr. did his part during Triple-A Omaha's 14-run outburst Sunday night, tallying two singles, two runs and two RBIs. He chipped in his 21st stolen base of the season for good measure. Aug. 20: Doubles twice in three-hit effort
It takes a lot more than a measly rain delay to cool off Bobby Witt Jr., as the No. 3 overall prospect swatted two doubles in a three-hit performance for Triple-A Omaha. Witt was one of the lone bright spots offensively for the Storm Chasers, going 3-for-5 with a run scored. His two doubles bring him to 49 extra-base hits on the year. Bobby Witt Jr.'s torrid August with Triple-A Omaha continued on Tuesday, as the No. 5 overall prospect smacked his sixth homer of the month. Aug. 15: Whiffs three times
After striking out just five times in his previous eight games, Bobby Witt Jr. struck out in all three of his plate appearances Sunday for Triple-A Omaha. It was a rare blemish in what has been a great August for Witt, who has five homers and a .942 OPS this month. With a fifth-inning stolen base on Saturday, Bobby Witt Jr. became the first Royals prospect with a 20-homer, 20-steal season since Alex Gordon in 2006. Bobby Witt Jr. extended his hitting streak to five games with a 1-for-4 performance Wednesday night and added his 18th stolen base of the year. Aug. 10: Two-run homer marks fifth in seven games
You can't stop Bobby Witt Jr. You can only hope to contain him. Witt launched his fifth home run in the past seven games, as his tear in Triple-A continued in a 1-for-3 night. The two-run blast was his 24th of the year and eighth with Omaha. Over the past seven games, Witt has collected seven extra-base hits and a whopping 13 runs driven in. Aug. 7: Clubs a grand slam, posts 5 RBIs
MLB's No. 5 overall prospect Bobby Witt Jr. launched his first career grand slam, a no-doubter over the tall right-center fence of Huntington Park, and that one swing accounted for four of the five runs he drove in during Triple-A Omaha's 13-10 win over Columbus. Bobby Witt Jr. has been doing it all for Triple-A Omaha since his arrival, as the newly crowned No. 5 overall prospect in baseball smacked a two-run go-ahead homer in the eighth for his sixth home run as a Storm Chaser. Bobby Witt Jr. slipped into a mini 1-for-15 slump over the past few games, but the Royals' top prospect didn't let it reach 16 at-bats and blasted a three-run homer in extra innings. Witt went 1-for-5 for Triple-A Omaha, adding a walk and a run scored prior to his 11th-inning dinger.
