Manoah's debut postponed by weather

The hotly anticipated MLB debut of Blue Jays No. 5 prospect Alek Manoah will be delayed a little bit longer. Wednesday night’s game between the Blue Jays and Yankees in New York was postponed due to inclement weather.

The game will be made up Thursday as the first half of a single-admission doubleheader, with first pitch slated for 4:05 p.m. ET. The second game will start approximately a half-hour after the first game ends, but no earlier than 7:05 p.m.

The pitching matchups are expected to remain the same: Alek Manoah vs. Domingo Germán in Game 1 and Robbie Ray vs. Jordan Montgomery in Game 2.

Toronto has won five of seven matchups against New York this season, including a 6-2 win in the opening game of this series on Tuesday.
