Nobody home on shortstop's throw to plate

Alex Bregman scored under unusual circumstances in the sixth inning of Houston's 4-2 victory over the Mariners on Monday.
Mariners shortstop Dylan Moore delivered an accurate toss to home plate on what should have been a routine fielder's choice out ... except there was no one there to receive it.
With runners on first and third, Yuli Gurriel knocked a grounder to short, which Moore cleanly fielded. But rather than receiving the throw at home, catcher Omar Narváez vacated the plate and followed Gurriel down the first-base line to back up a potential throw to first.
Moore's toss sailed right over home plate and bounced off the back wall as Reddick scored easily from third and Gurriel reached safely.
