Astros option Feliz, call up Marisnick

HOUSTON -- The Astros optioned right-hander Michael Feliz to Triple-A Fresno following Wednesday's 16-4 rout of the Twins and called up outfielder Jake Marisnick, who will start in left field in Thursday's series opener against the Mariners.
Marisnick was sent down on April 24 to make room for Feliz when the Astros decided they needed another pitcher. Marisnick went 1-for-10 in 12 games before being sent to Fresno, where he hit .185 in seven games.
Feliz, who threw two scoreless innings on Wednesday, appeared in four games and allowed 11 hits and 10 runs (nine earned) in 9 1/3 innings.
