The performance helped Spiers pick up his second straight win and lowered his ERA to 1.29.

Rockies: Sterlin Thompson, OF (No. 6), Salt River Rafters
Case Williams, RHP (Unranked), Salt River Rafters
Thompson has been a force at the dish for the Rafters, tallying a knock in all eight of his games, including a pair on Friday. After drawing a walk in the first inning, the 22-year-old extended his streak with a single in the second. In the fourth, Thompson cracked a line-drive double to right to bring home two runs. He walked a second time later in the game and ended the day with a .500/.622/.750 slash line in the Fall League play. He leads the circuit in OBP.

Coming off a Double-A season where he struggled to a 7.08 ERA, everything has started to click for Williams this fall. For his encore on Friday, he posted an almost identical line, yielding one hit and striking out four across three more scoreless innings. More »
