After the excitement of the postseason fades and everyone is left counting down the days until pitchers and catchers report, the closest fans can get to seeing their favorite MLB players is typically limited to social media.
But what if there was an opportunity to see some of MLB’s biggest stars gathered together while dressed to the nines, celebrating their achievements … and maybe even participating in a marshmallow toss?
For the second year in a row, the All-MLB Team will be unveiled in an exciting awards show presented by MGM Rewards in a flashy Las Vegas setting as part of a three-day All-MLB Weekend.

In addition to the unveiling of the All-MLB First Team and Second Team, the Las Vegas show will announce the selections for the Hank Aaron Awards and, for the first time, the Mariano Rivera American League Reliever of the Year, the Trevor Hoffman National League Reliever of the Year, the Edgar Martinez Outstanding Designated Hitter Award and the Comeback Player of the Year Awards.
After Wednesday evening’s opening event and autograph session, the red carpet rolls out at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Thursday to welcome current and former players to the show, which will air at 8 p.m. ET on MLB Network. Following the awards show will be an after party hosted by Mookie Betts, featuring a performance by Machine Gun Kelly. There is a golf tournament scheduled for Friday afternoon before the festivities conclude on Saturday.

Fresh off his World Series championship, Betts will be in attendance alongside Corbin Burnes, Dylan Cease, Emmanuel Clase, William Contreras, Garrett Crochet, Jarren Duran, Ryan Helsley, Jose Iglesias, Shota Imanaga, Ketel Marte, Mason Miller, Paul Skenes and Tarik Skubal. A number of Hall of Famers and former players will also be in the crowd, including Ken Griffey Jr., Ryan Howard and CC Sabathia, among others.
The All-MLB Team presents fans with a unique opportunity to be a part of an awards selection process, with 50 percent of the vote accounted for by fans and the other 50 percent by a panel of experts. While the All-MLB Team has been around since 2019, the ‘23 season marked the first time the honorees were unveiled in an awards-style show.

Last year’s inaugural event saw former Hall of Famers mingling with current players, Clase catching a marshmallow in his mouth that was tossed by the Blue Man Group and of course, a host of incredible outfits. To no surprise, Ronald Acuña Jr. set a high bar in the fashion department, paying tribute to Hank Aaron by wearing a custom red satin suit with the late Hall of Famer’s “44” stitched on the inside. The recipient of the 2023 Hank Aaron Award in the NL, Acuña accepted the honor from Aaron’s wife, Billye.
This year’s event will again be hosted by comedian Roy Wood Jr., who mixed in a number of jabs at both current and former players during last year’s show.
