Albert Almora Jr.'s great grab leaping into the ivy at Wrigley Field on Sunday has earned him the first Play of the Week honor of the 2020 season.

Almora's catch was announced as MLB's Play of the Week on Monday on MLB Network.

The Cubs' center fielder raced back to the wall and timed his jump perfectly to rob Logan Morrison of an extra-base hit in the ninth inning of Chicago's series-clinching win over the Brewers, emerging from the ivy with the ball in his glove.

Almora, no stranger to making highlight-reel catches, had to cover 103 feet on the play.

He's the first Cubs player to win Play of the Week honors since the award's inception last year.
