Here are the Rookie of the Year vote totals

Below are point totals for the balloting for the 2024 Rookie of the Year Award, as voted on by members of the Baseball Writers' Association of America. Ballots for each award were submitted before the start of the postseason from two writers in every city, based on the league covered.

The system rewards five points for first place, three for second place and one for third place.

NATIONAL LEAGUE RESULTS

Paul Skenes, PIT: 23 first-place votes, 7 second-place votes -- 136 points
Jackson Merrill, SD: 7 (1st place), 23 (2nd place) -- 104 points
Jackson Chourio, MIL: 26 (3rd place) -- 26 points
Shota Imanaga, CHC: 4 (3rd place) -- 4 points

AMERICAN LEAGUE RESULTS

Luis Gil, NYY: 15 first-place votes, 10 second-place votes, 1 third-place vote -- 106 points
Colton Cowser, BAL: 13 (1st place), 11 (2nd place), 3 (3rd place) -- 101 points
Austin Wells, NYY: 3 (2nd place), 8 (3rd place) -- 17 points
Mason Miller, OAK: 1 (1st place), 2 (2nd place), 5 (3rd place) -- 16 points
Cade Smith, CLE: 1 (1st place), 1 (2nd place), 4 (3rd place) -- 12 points
