Thanks to an 11-1 win in Game 5 of the NLCS presented by Camping World on Thursday night, the Dodgers are headed back to the World Series for the first time since 1988. It's an exciting time for both the team and the city of Los Angeles.
But Yasiel Puig doesn't just see a chance to achieve baseball immortality. Like any sensible businessman, he recognizes that winning the NL pennant is also an excellent business opportunity.
With countless Dodgers fans looking to celebrate their team's long-awaited trip to the Fall Classic, local establishments will no doubt see a bump in revenue -- and, as he told MLB Network Radio during the postgame celebration, Puig is ready to get in on the ground floor.
"The owners of the bars are going to make a lot of money tonight," Puig said. "I want to be an owner of one bar. I want to be rich."
