In his second career start in LF, Yasiel Puig made a diving, back-to-the-infield catch for the ages

Since coming up and making his Dodgers debut in 2013, Yasiel Puig has primarily been a right fielder. Of his 379 starts heading into Saturday night's contest with the Marlins, only one of them was in left field.
People always talk of the respective differences between the outfield spots -- angles, distractions, and all the other things that can set each one apart from the next.
None of that matters to serial would-be hit thief Puig, though, and he proved that in a big way in the Dodgers' 5-0 win at Marlins Park. With Rich Hill carrying a perfect game into the seventh inning, Puig rose to the occasion on a line drive off the bat of Martín Prado with this jaw-dropping catch:

Hill's perfect game may not have come to fruition, but had it happened there's no doubt what the requisite amazing, game-saving defensive play would have been after that display from Puig.
